Clearing the unread mail icon on my Blackberry
I could not clear down the unread mail icon on my Blackberry 8700.
Not critical, but irritating!
Tried various approaches; mark prior read, delete prior, pull battery, all to no avail.
No unread mail to be seen....
Somewhere the Blackberry was holding something, somewhere unread.
Used "Search" to find it as follows:
- From within Blackberry Messaging (mail)
- Menu, Search
- Search again (blank search), i.e. return all
- Hit "U" to find next unread.....
I found an errant unread message filed away in the search results!
An unread mail, somehow accidentally saved....Irritating problem cured

At long last The Prisoner starts making it to the Big Screen
I have been known to be cult-ish about the short lived Prisoner series, occasionally re-run now & then. Rumours of a re-make for the big screen have circulated for years; seems we're now a little closer.
